As the World Test Championship unfolds, trends are emerging from the longest format of the game of cricket. The five day game has only seen its full schedule used only twice. If any other game has gone into the fifth day, the weather interruptions are to be blamed. However, without weather poking its nose into the game a majority of the games have been wrapped up under 5 days. With the proposal on the ICC table, is that a signal for the future of Test cricket?
